Sunday Oct. 1, 12:30 – 2 p.m.
There are so many ways to know a tree. You can recognize its bark and leaves, you can know how its wood is used, or what parts are good to eat. You might know what animals live in its branches, or what mushrooms live with its roots. Whatever you might already know about a tree, there’s always more to learn.
Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave.
$5 per person (resident) / $7 (non-resident)
Registration deadline: when program is full.
