Thursday, Jan. 18, 9 – 11 a.m.

Join us at the Nature Center as we learn proper preparation for winter weather conditions. We will discuss important safety and problem solving techniques for surviving the outdoors. Put these skills to the test as we make a survival shelter outside.

Home School: Winter Birds

Thursday, Dec. 14, 9 – 11 a.m.

Learn about Minnesota’s winter birds. Students will discover how to identify these different birds, what types of food they eat and how they adapt to the cold months. We’ll watch these birds up close as they visit Westwood’s feeders.
